Advantages: Big, Great football

Disadvantages: Too quiet

I am a life long red, born in Manc and I will die a red. I love visiting Old Trafford, although getting tickets is hard.

What always strikes me is how quiet the stadium is compared to others around the country. Often you can here the players and referee talking on the pitch and instead of loud cheering all you get is polite ripples of applause echoing ominously around the ground.

And it isn't as though the Red fans can't sing. In Barca last summer (what a night!!!) the Red fans were awesome and Barcelona rocked for the 3 nights I was there. I saw them at Wimbledon last season and again the red fans were great.

So why is OT so quiet? In my opinion we need a singing section like Arsenal have. That way there would be a portion of the crowd who start things off and, who knows, maybe the rest of the fans would join in.

I hope this happens soon. My favourate song is the Seven Days of Christmas - Cantona style.
