Advantages: Lots of people

Disadvantages: No atmosphere

My first experience of Old Trafford was this year when the mighty Liverpool beat the Mancs 1-0.

As I was surrounded by the smelly mancs, I couldn't stand up and sing for fear of being set upon, but the one thing that really stood out in my mind was the piped cheering!

Yes, you've heard of piped music in shops and restaurants, now come to Old Trafford and hear the 'champions' being vocally supported by, er, a PA system!

Yes, the atmosphere inside Old Trafford is truly quiet. For a stadium full of almost 68,000 'people', they still need fake cheering to raise the noise levels!

On the plus side though, it is a great stadium and the sheer size of the stands is quite amazing. The food is reasonable and fairly cheap (if you can bear the thought of eating out of a Manchester United wrapper!) and the programme is good value at £2.00.
