Parkstone is an 18 hole course based near Poole, Dorset. As with much of the scenery in this part of the world, Parkstone is a beautiful course: Pines and heather based on a semi sandy soil with established greens and fairways. Providing a challenging variety of holes, the course makes its way across some very diverse terrain, both flat and steep, protected and exposed. Tragically in 1987, the first of the memorable 'hurricanes' hit the course and brought down some very established and characterful trees. However, the greenkeepers rebuilt the course where necessary and it still makes for a great round. The proshop is well stocked and ... Read the complete review
