Advantages: Intesive lessons, good solid equipment

Disadvantages: Occasionally needed more one on one time than could have.

I was recently lucky enough to be brought a day group intensive snowboarding session for my birthday, thanks to my lovely girlfriend. Although nervous about trying this brand new sport at first, as soon as you arrive the staff are friendly and welcoming, putting you at ease almost immediately.
In my package i received approximately 6hrs of tuition and then had several breaks which i was given snacks and a main meal in. The food was very good and there was enough on offer to satisfy myself and my vegetarian girlfriend.
The kit you are provided with at no extra cost is excellent and i found no faults in it, it fitted well and i felt confident using it all. The lessons itself were fun and although very hard, you get to grip with the basics quickly. There are periods of one on one contact with the instructors and also periods where you get time to fine tune the techniques and just generally get used to it all.
I would recommend this to anyone thinking about going on a snowboarding or skiing holiday, or even if you just fancy learning a new sport.

Summary: A great day, and i will be heading back asap!
