Advantages: Good view and facilities

Disadvantages: Poor atmosphere this season

This review is going to be from an away fans perspective. Im not a Birmingham supporter but I have been to this ground on several occasions as an away fan and think this is one of the better grounds for an away fan.

This stadium is the home of Birmingham City Football Club, since 1906, which is a just over 30,000 all seater stadium. Birmingham at the moment are second in the Championship, which is one league below the premiership and for the second largest city in England, Birmingham have a really low attendances. I have been to this ground before as an Ipswich fan when Ipswich was in the premiership and Birmingham were in Division 1 (the old championship) in a semi final of the Worthington Cup and the ground was rocking, The stadium was full and the atmosphere was so intimidating.
This season Birmingham were second in the league and their ground was half empty and the fans that where their were very quick to get on the backs of the players.

Anyway, back to the actual stadium -

The stadium has 3 nice, large stadiums which join together, then there is one stand which is very old and doesn't join to the rest.
The away fans get a large selection of the stand behind the goal. From this position they away fans get a good view. I was very surprised with the Stewards at the ground as they let us sit where we wanted rather than where our tickets said which was good as my ticket said I should have been in the corner but in fact I got just behind the goal :)
The facilities were great and very friendly. There is a large area to stand in with a big food and drinks stand, and a big area to place a bet if you wanted too. Also for an away section it was good to see a big clean toilets.
I cant comment on parking as i took a coach up there which parked us right outside the stadium.

I feel this stadium is one of the better in division for the away fans and at only £15 a ticket its also cheap. Shame we got beaten 2-1 and a 5 hour journey home on a cold Tuesday night :(

Summary: Good facilities
