Great views of Newcastle ... if you like that sort of thing (St James' Park (Newcastle United FC))

Advantages: Top stadium Disadvantages: Will never be world class
The recent development at St Jame's just doesn't seem to look right. On two sides of the ground you would think that you were at some amazing European destination such as the San Siro, the other two side wouldn't look out of place in the third divison. Having said that, Newcastle do now have the second best stadium in the premiership. It has the second largest capacity and from the outside looks superb. The geordies are amoung the most vocal in the peague, and the noise inside the ground on match days must be defening. Although many claim that paying for the redevelopment has left the club £50m in debt, the increased revenue form the stadium will help the club sustain their league position. Unfortuantely the club are unable to rebuilt the other two side, so it stop short of being a truly world class venue, but when you see what the ground looked like during the 80's, you can see just how far they have come.
