Newest Review: ... talking about the hotel, it was a nice one, the room was really nice. One thing I didn't like about it was that you had to pay a fee of £25 to get into the Leisure Centre, a bit steep that. The food and drink in the stadium could be better but it's OK, you'll get by with it. I sat in the Shed End that day, the atmosphere was pretty good compared to the two bigger stands (I've sat in one, ... more

... will discuss it later on), the fans seemed like very nice people and were full of noise on the day. I attended the Hull match at the start of this season and sat in the East Stand, it was a bloody awful atmosphere and I was often left alone chanting, a bit...more

As a Chelsea fan living in Ireland, I've only been to the stadium twice, but I've enjoyed both. My first visit in 2004 was fantastic, it was amazing that when I stayed in the hotel, to get into my seat all I had to do was walk through a door, up some stairs and into my seat, not outside, through stalls, etc, just a luxury way of getting there, pretty special. While I'm talking about the hotel, it was a nice one, the room was really nice. One thing I didn't like about it was that you had to pay a fee of £25 to get into the Leisure Centre, a bit steep that. Stamford Bridge, the home of Chelsea FC. I don't support Chelsea, but in recent years I have visited them on a fair few occassions. Mainly due to my dad supporting them and going with him and my nephew to keep the father-son bond alive. We live in Kent and get the train to Victoria station. The first couple of times we went, we then got on the tube to Fulham Broadway. Upon leaving this station, the Bridge is literally just outside, so very convinient for transport to the stadium. On more recent trips, we have walked from Victoria. It takes around 30 minutes and is 3 different roads to get to it. You can't really miss the stadium, it is pretty big and ...  Read the complete review

I've visited Stamford Bridge a few times now and have usually been situated in one of the corners, your usual away end section. I've always found it is very different from any other ground which I will go into as I go on. Of all the London grounds i've found getting to and from Stamford Bridge as one of the easiest. Once out the tube station at Fulham Broadway you are greeted by a fairly high class part of London, unlike most London clubs and the ground is right by the station. Not much in the way of pubs but I have only ever seen one side of the ground. To get into the ground you walk past The big Chelsea Hotel and once inside there is plenty of space to ...  Read the complete review

Stamford Bridge is the home of Chelsea Football club and has been the home of the club since they were formed in 1905. Over that time the stadium has gone over a number of changes and is now a great stadium. Although its capacity may not be as great as some of the other great stadia in the world it is still an iconic football ground and currently home to one of the top football teams in world football. The capacity of the stadium is 42,055 and it has a 4 star rating from Uefa and is considered to be a A UEFA Elite Stadium. This gives it the ability of being able to host the final of the UEFA Champions League or the UEFA Cup, UEFA's two premier club ...  Read the complete review

Should your team ever grace the Premier League then you have the opportunity to visit some of the best stadiums in the country, watch some of the best players in the world and hopefully walk away with something from the game. Well all the teams that have ventured to Stamford Bridge this season haven’t come away with three points, some have come away with a hiding, some a point, supporters have come away a lot more skint than when they arrived. With the abundance of money around Chelsea you’d think they’d subsidise the prices. Well as far as I’m aware and from experience of other away days Chelsea charge the most to grace their hallowed stands. To watch the ...  Read the complete review
