Advantages: Hospitality, Uniqueness, Fans are friendly, some fantastic matches.

Disadvantages: Food and Drink, Atmosphere occasionally, ticket prices in places.

As a Chelsea fan living in Ireland, I've only been to the stadium twice, but I've enjoyed both. My first visit in 2004 was fantastic, it was amazing that when I stayed in the hotel, to get into my seat all I had to do was walk through a door, up some stairs and into my seat, not outside, through stalls, etc, just a luxury way of getting there, pretty special. While I'm talking about the hotel, it was a nice one, the room was really nice. One thing I didn't like about it was that you had to pay a fee of £25 to get into the Leisure Centre, a bit steep that. The food and drink in the stadium could be better but it's OK, you'll get by with it.

I sat in the Shed End that day, the atmosphere was pretty good compared to the two bigger stands (I've sat in one, will discuss it later on), the fans seemed like very nice people and were full of noise on the day.

I attended the Hull match at the start of this season and sat in the East Stand, it was a bloody awful atmosphere and I was often left alone chanting, a bit disappointing. But again the hospitality was alright and it a decent game. The surrounding area is fantastic, so Stamford Bridge is a fantastic day out, a good football match and then you have Fulham and Kings Road to wander around, loads of choice there.

One thing I love about Stamford Bridge is its uniqueness, it's not a dome like the Emirates or an overused template for a stadium like the DW, it was built up overtime and is one of the oldest stadiums in the country, which has developed into something of a beauty. I also went on the tour of the stadium, the tour guides seem friendly and give you a good tour. Some parts of the tour are amazing, it's well worth it.

I'll give Stamford Bridge 5/5, one of the best stadiums I've visited.

Summary: Great place to visit, recommended.
