Newest Review: ... I believe they were making a driving range, this is probably completed now. Stockley Park is definitely a course I will return too as it is very easy to get too, there is loads of parking, it doesn't cost the earth for a round and the course is nice to play. Overall it is a fantastic course. Well recommended. Green fees for visiting golfers: Weekday £25.00, £20.00 Weekend £35.00, ... more

Premium Review Stockley Park: Great golf at a great price! (467 words)

I played Stockley Park for the first time about three months ago with some colleagues from work. They had played their numerous times before and really liked the course because it is kept immaculately and the green fees aren't ridiculously expensive. The location of the course is another great plus point. It is situated just 3 miles from junction 15 of the M25, or 1.5 miles from junction 4 of the M4 depending upon which route you would take; so it's very accessible. When you enter the complex you are greeted by a huge car park, which is always nice, this is because Stockley Park Golf Centre is adjacent to the business park and so there is a lot of ground. From the car ...  Read the complete review

Premium Review Not bad at all (182 words)

Just off Junction 4 of the M4, this course is popular with workers of the adjacent business park, so don't be surprised to see the bar packed with corporate golfers. You'll do well to do that in par on many of the holes, and watch out for the massive lake that guards the 18th green. Once ...  Read the complete review

As a shaky 22 handicap I found Stockley park a great course upon which pass an enjoyable afternoon (even if it was raining!). Stockley park is built on an old landfill site, not that you would be able to tell, as the holes glide gracefully up and down its length and breadth. The PGA tour stops here once a year to let us see how the game should be played and provides the top names in the sport with a worthy challenge off the championship tees. However, for players of my standard it provides an interesting, challenging and yet strangely forgiving round of golf. For the most part the turf is well kept and the greens slick. The rough when cut back makes a ...  Read the complete review
