You might be thinking 'Its not an international ground ' but thats where you would be wrong as the Welsh National football team still play matches there . The Nationwide Football season is now officially over (unless you are lucky enough to be a supporter of one of the clubs in the play-offs), and quite frankly I’m bored already. Actually as a Wrexham supporter my season just about finished on Friday 21 September when we lost 5-nil at Tranmere. From that moment on we always looked relegation material and eventually succumbed without hardly leaving the dreaded zone all season. Afte suggesting this stadium for the category, it seems only fitting that im the first to write about it. "Why add a 2nd division stadium to the list," you may ask. well the answer is 3 fold. Firstly, The Racecourse Ground in Wrexham is not only host to Football games, but also to Welsh Rugby internationals and other important Welsh national events. Overshadowed maybe by the new Millenium Stadium in Cardiff to the South, it still is the pride of North Wales sporting facilities.
