I've been to The Valley once as an away fan with Newcastle and it was one of the better away days without a shadow of doubt. The Valley isn't in the most brilliant area, although it is right next to a main line train stration, but there is not an underground line around the ground. Once inside the ground you can already see that it is a ground that will produce a cracking atmosphere as it is sort of an old style ground without corners, except it does have the corners to keep in the noise.
