Hollywood Bowl ... dad has been promising to take my 10 year old sister bowling for about 6 months now but he s not got round to it. A couple of weeks ago I was supposed to take her to see JLS, Sugababes and loads of other acts at the cock up BRMB Christmas lights switch on in town, you might have heard about it because there was a mad crush as all the little tweenagers kicked off in excitement at seeing the "multi-talented" JLS. My sister was mega disappointed so my dad offered to take us all bowling instead. We ve got a Hollywood Bowl up the road in Rubery, Birmingham so turned up there at about 2 in the afternoon. Paradise Island Adventure Golf ... in advance for the short and probably no-so-useful review, but we visited Paradise Island Adventure Golf in August and dooyoo have only just added it to their catalogue, hence I m going on 3-month old memories here... We encountered Paradise Island almost by accident after shopping in the Trafford Centre in Manchester (which isn t half as goos as Meadowhall, but that s another review). Y see, one great thing about the Trafford Centre is that there s a lot of decent restaurants there, there s a cinema and there s Paradise Island. Hollywood Bowl ... August I had the pleasure(?) of going bowling with the wife and 4 of her work colleagues... all of whom are civil servants. After several visits to the intended venue, dozens of health and safety assessments and a mountain of paperwork, we eventually set out to Hollywood Bowl in the Centertainment complex in Sheffield... It was over 2 months ago that we last went now (thanks must go to dooyoo for (finally) adding my request) and the drinks were flowing so my memory might be a little hazy in places...
