Apparently my group holds the record at this course for the slowest nine holes ever of Texas Scramble. The course owner rushed out to tell us this just as I was about to sink a 50-footer on the 9th green. Don't let the clubhouse put you off! The fact it's 3 portacabins cobbled together does not detract from a well-maintained course that suits the moderate golfer. 14,500 trees were planted in 1999, so at the moment you can get relief if you stray just off the fairways.
