Advantages: Massive!

Disadvantages: A bit expensive £800 million? Come on.

Wembley Stadium has long since been described as the home of football and the old stadium was one of the most famous in the world, however in 2000 the stadium was closed and it was anounced that in 2003 it would be demolished. It's not all doom and gloom though as work on the new Wembley stadium was also announced and it's this stadium that i shall be focusing my review on.

Work began in 2003 and after £800 million and several delays the stadium was finally finished.

Here's some info on the stadium:
Can hold up to 90,000 people.(Making it the 2nd largest in Europe).
Located in north west London, England.
Most expensive stadium ever built.
The famous 'arch' can be seen from miles off.

Wembley Stadium not only hosts football events but music and other sporting events.

I have been to Wembley several times and each time i went i was still amazed by the sheer presence of the stadium and as you walk out to take your seat it really is amazing.

The legroom is very good and there is plenty of space, the stadium is well equiped with eating facilities but as you would expect the food is quite expensive.

The stadium has good transport links with Wembley Park Central and Wembley Central stations within a short distance. To be honest i didn't have any of the parking difficulties that other people seem to be having but then again my events might not have been as high profile.

All in all a worthy replacement for the old Wembley and a great venue in general.
