Advantages: The whole experience

Disadvantages: A little expensive

Having never had the pleasure of visitng the old Wembley Stadium before its demolition, I won't be offering any words on how it has improved and the soul of the place compared to the old ground. However, having been to the new Wembley Stadium, I feel I am qualified enough to give an insight into the new ground.

My one and only visit of the ground was for the League 1 play off final between my beloved Doncaster Rovers and the not so mighty anymore Leeds United. Now, naturally as we won the game, I am bound to have happy memories of Wembley, but this review is based purely on view, facilities and emotion generated.

The first thing that strikes you on arrival is the sheer size of the place. This is not something you can grasp on TV, especially when looking up at the arch, which is simply stunning. The car park is enormous and, as we went on the coach, we had no problems getting in or out and parking was reserved. I cannot comment on the travel and parking issues for car owners.

There are plenty of places for a pre-match drink in and around the ground and the drink prices in Wembley are not as bad as you might imagine. The toilet facilites are perfect and the concourse vast enough to comfortably house the 80,000 crowd that was there.

Then came the moment I had dreamt of. The walk through the entrance tunnel to my seat. A look around the bowl is a sight I will never forget. The stadium was only half full at the time, but the atmosphere generated was amazing, even without any chanting going on. The seats are comfortable and there is more than enough leg room. Nobody can have a bad view at Wembley.

They really know how to put a final on too with lots of pyrotechnics and banners.

The top and bottom of it is that Wembley is the best stadium I have been too by a mile and is more than likely the best stadium in the world.

Summary: Has to be the best stadium in the world.

It should be good for how much it cost to build....I've been to a few great stadia; the Camp Nou, The Bernabeu but not made it to Wembley yet. Good review, Caroline xx
