Went to my first game at the new Wembley last April to watch Rochdale vs Stockport in the Division 2 Play Off Final.
It was a horrible day weather wise, pouring rain and also very windy.
As we came into Wembley on the tube you could see the huge arch that goes across the stadium and you couldnt help but notice the size of the place, and that was from afar.
Id been to the old Wembley before and that was an outdated, horrible, overpriced place to watch a football match for the spectator but the new Wembley is the total opposite.
We did the walk down Wembley Way,saw the Bobby Moore statue and gazed up in awe of the people in Club Wembley in the dry!
Inside the stadium the concourses are huge with plenty of room and food kiosks. The prices werent as expensive as id thought theyd be.Even the toilets where superb.
We had seats 5 rows from the front just to the side of the goals and they where very comfortable, although we got a little bit wet as the rain was blowing across the pitch as the roof was open.
A superb atmosphere even with the stadium under half full,so the atmosphere must be electric when full.
The stadium is well served by train/tube stations,we used Wembley Central,10-15 min walk away.
Plenty of pubs and eateries close to the stadium to accomodate all the fans so no problems getting to from the stadium although it can get very busy.

This is THE place to take a game in.
Better than the Millenium Stadium as that was the best stadium id been to before Wembley.
A superb day out at the home of foootball.

Summary: Home of football

Rochdale v Stockport should surely have been played at Old Trafford - ludicrous to bring all those Mancunians down to London.

I'm going to Wembley on the 10th May, which will be my first time ever, to watch Glossop North End in the FA Vase final. I'm soooo excited!
