Well, it's gone. Wembley has been demolished and a lot of memories have gone with it.
So what now?
The plans were laid out, the ermission was given, everything was ready.
But now the f.a are saying there is not enough money to build the "new wembley".

I think it is a disgrace. They should never have demolished that picturesque, lovely stadium.
Ok, even i admit that it needed updating a bit but they didn't have to demolish it and try to start again.

I believe that the day those twin towers were destroyed was a very dark day in English Football.
And, of course not just football, what about the olympics? How are we ever going to put in a decent claim to host them without a main stadium?

What is the answer to all these problems? Or shall we continue to play international football at a different ground every match for the next 20 years?
Shall we have our f.a and worthington cup final's held at a division 2 team@s stadium in WALES?

The f.a really do need to get down in their offices and find a solution because the nation is very passionate about sport and if this continues, we will be laughed at across the world and nobody will take us seriously.

I live in the outskirts of London and i do not want to be trotting across England to watch my own country play football. London is the capital and london is where the stadium belongs.
I also support Chelsea and i definitely do not want to be travelling to Wales to watch them in a final. I am sure it is the same for Arsenal, Man U, Liverpool and any other teams fans.

So my final say is: Give us back the heart of English football-Wembley Stadium

1) Picturesque, Wembley? Have you ever been there?
2) The Millennium Stadium is the national stadium of Wales. Cardiff City play at Ninian Park.
3) Chelsea in a cup final? Don't count your chickens, especially under the directions of Claudio Who? and Captain Birdseye.

A national stadium should not necessarily be in London. I would opt for further north.

The rest of your op is good.

I agree that its a disgrace the way it seems to have been handled but thats the FA for you !! I agree with northerner that it is about time a new national stadium is built, after all the rest of the country has been trotting down to London for long enough. Remember its our country too not just Londonds. Good first op none the less though.
