I visited the old Wembley with the famous twin towers on a few occassions, mainly for England games before they knocked it down and used to love the old Wembley so I for one was saddened to see it go but also excited that there would a be new stadium in it's place and waited to see what it would be like. I have now been to the New ... Read the complete review

Being a Manchester United supporter and season ticket holder I visited Wembley twice last season. Once for the Carling Cup Final (A good day) and the other was for the F.A. Cup Semi Final (A not so good day). I'm glad I got to visit it twice because it gave me a chance to change my opinion on it. Not like it actually changed it much! ... Read the complete review

Wembley is the king of all stadiums in this country, and is home to the national team, England. Situated in the London suberbs, this stadium has been rebuilt once since the original, and for about 4 years, their was no national stadium. When this stadium was opened, you could clearly see the arc from all cross London, and it a brilliant addition ... Read the complete review

Went to my first game at the new Wembley last April to watch Rochdale vs Stockport in the Division 2 Play Off Final. It was a horrible day weather wise, pouring rain and also very windy. As we came into Wembley on the tube you could see the huge arch that goes across the stadium and you couldnt help but notice the size of the place, and ... Read the complete review

Having never had the pleasure of visitng the old Wembley Stadium before its demolition, I won't be offering any words on how it has improved and the soul of the place compared to the old ground. However, having been to the new Wembley Stadium, I feel I am qualified enough to give an insight into the new ground. My one and only visit of ... Read the complete review

Wembley Stadium has long since been described as the home of football and the old stadium was one of the most famous in the world, however in 2000 the stadium was closed and it was anounced that in 2003 it would be demolished. It's not all doom and gloom though as work on the new Wembley stadium was also announced and it's this stadium that i ... Read the complete review

*Introduction* When the twin towers of Wembley were felled some 6 years ago the finest stadium in the world began to be built. With its huge arch dominating the London skyline its one not to be missed! Although the modern stadium is slightly out of place amongst shops and houses that look like they are from the 80's its still a ... Read the complete review

I do love this place and the impressive view it gives the London skyline. It is big, clean, modern and spacious inside although the local tube station still cannot seem to handle the crowds!! Food outlets are varied and plentiful but too expensive. The fact that cash machines are not availale on every level is also not good as stewards ... Read the complete review

After the last iconic Wembley was demolished a new and improved one has been built. Despite all the well publicised difficulties encountered when constructing it and cost over-runs it has now been built and I believe it was worth it. The arch can be seen from miles away and acts like a beacon to the arriving spectators. When arriving ... Read the complete review

Great Stadium, woefull parking facilities. Used a parking operating opposite the road which made getting there and, more importantly, out again quick and hassle free (if it helps anyone I used www.wembleyparking.net). When are they going to sort out the parking problems around there? The public transport just isn't up to the job!

I would tell you about the facilities of Wembley Stadium, but in their wisdom, somebody knocked it down. Three years on, and the construction of a brand-new stadium on the site of the old one has commenced. No Twin Towers. No white horse. And no sign of Bobby Moore. So, why do we need a new Wembley? Well, the old one ... Read the complete review

It’s not long now before we find out where the new national stadium is to be built since the sad demise of Wembley Stadium. Many people believe that the new national stadium should be built outside the capital – and I am one of them. In my opinion, the ‘new’ Wembley should not be built at the current site in ... It's such a shame that the greatest stadium in football could not have ended on a high. Only a match against the Auld enemy, Scotland, would have been a better send off to the old lady than a match against Germany. There was the (extra!) added incentive to beat Germany, not just because it was Wembley's last game, but also because it ... Read the complete review

Back in 1996 the FA decided that the new national stadium should be built on the site of the existing Wembley stadium. 5 years down the line, and not a brick has been laid. A number of problems have beset the project. The design isn’t available yet. The bid required the use of the twin towers in the new development, but no one stopped to ... Read the complete review

Well, it's gone. Wembley has been demolished and a lot of memories have gone with it. So what now? The plans were laid out, the ermission was given, everything was ready. But now the f.a are saying there is not enough money to build the "new wembley". I think it is a disgrace. They should never have demolished ... Read the complete review

i dont know whether you have seen the computer animated projection of the new wembly stadium, but i think it is pointless. i agree that the move should be made from the original wembly stadium, but why do we really need to knock it down? there is another perfectly good place that could be used in my opinion, and that place is the ... Wembley stadium is being demolished....aah! I will dearly miss Wembley stadium as it is now as it is a super stadium with so much history. I have visited Wembley on 6 different occasions. I'm with Mintboy and Libertybell. The place is a dump! With a very capital D! I have been going to Wembley since 1983 for the Rugby League Cup Final. Wembley stadium, the word itself means so much to football fans all around the world, which is something quite special for a stadium. It has witnessed some truly spectacular displays of genius down the years, most notably the 1966 world cup final in which England won.
