Adidas Copa Mundial
Advantages: Comfortable and light
Disadvantages: Only last a season
I find that when I play football it is best to wear a boot that does not show up. When playing Sunday league it tends to be the players in brink pink boots that seem to get kicked the most frequent and with the most anger. So I find nothing better to stick to a standard black boot.
The best standard black boot I have come across is the Adidas Copa Mundial. The boot is plain blain black with white Adidas stripes and tongue. As boots go for me it looks classy. The boot is crafted to mould to your foot. I find them very snug and comfortable throughout matches. Made of K leather (kangaroo) the boot is very lightweight yet has the toughness to get you through the season. Being lightweight allows you to be faster and react quicker. The leather can assist your power in striking the ball and adds extra speed. Despite being lightweight the boot offers protection through it tough leather allowing you to take all kinds of tackles and knocks. The boot comes with moulded studs that are perfect for hard pitches and I even use mine on artificial turf.
I usually buy these boots for my moulded pair and find they'll last around a year. The problem is the front of the boot tends to pull away from the sole leaving a slight gap. This can lead to the shape not being natural (my excuse for a bad touch).
Despite the wearing from the sole I cannot complain. This boot is snug, light, adds power and looks great. They usually cost around £60 - £80 but are well worth the money every season. With all these positives and attributes it is no surprise that these are world's bestselling football boot.
