... shoe, its not overly fussy or flash like some other brands and is quite classic and understated. I don't feel like I'm drawing too much attention to my feet when I'm wearing them and I've happily worn them with jeans or work trousers if I've needed to walk a long distance and I haven't felt self conscious.
One last thing about New Balance, they produce all their shoes in the UK or US so you can rest assured that they haven't been made in a sweat shop....more

I bought these shoes to train for my first 10K a couple of years ago, I still run in them a coupe of times a week and they're still going strong! I must confess to not being an expert on running shoes as these were my first ever pair, so this review is from a beginner's point of view. I bought these in the sale at Up and Running for about £30 but would have been happy to pay a bit more as I've been very happy with them. The shoe is well padded and provides good support when running.
