Reebok Electra FitFlop 035
Advantages: Very comfortable and stylish
Disadvantages: Not that I can think of
Last summer, when I was packing for my 3-day trip to Alton Towers with friends, I suddenly realise that I'm in the dire need of a good sandals. I've been to Alton towers before and knows that it covers a very large ground. I knew that my collection of heels would do me no good. So I went shopping to purchase a pair of comfortable sandals. To be frank, I don't usually buy sandals from sport shoes brands because I tend to associate them with the words 'practical' and 'not attractive'. As it turned out, these pairs of sandals proved me wrong.
These Reebok Electra FitFlop range is designed for casual exercising such as taking a stroll around the park and yet give you some muscle tone at the same time. Appearance wise, it's really is attractive and has a feminine touch to it with the glitters. It comes in three colours: bronze, pewter and gold that is shown in the picture above. The one I purchased is the gold coloured one as it looks really good on my feet.
These sandals are very comfortable. According to my research, they have a microfibre lining to maximum comfort. From my experience, taking long walks around the park at Alton Towers was made easier by wearing these sandals. Moreover, they are made with FitFlop's MicrowobbleboardTM midsole technology, which is designed to workout the muscles in the legs to improve its tone. To be honest, I don't think there's a significant change in my leg muscles tone. I do try to work out for like 20 minutes every day and that includes leg exercises, so I think any improvement in my leg muscles can be solely contributed to these sandals.
However, these are very durable and fashionable to wear for shopping trips and days out with families and friends. I don't get blisters or pain patches with these sandals and that is a very good advantage for these products. I'm one of those people who can't wear flats in the summer because they hurt the back of my foot and ankle, so I have to settle with sandals on hot days.
Luckily, I've had a good purchase with these products and they've lasted me a good long 2 months of summer last year and I've started wearing them this year as well. There's a few pieces of sequins coming off around the edges but I must admit I tend to cross my ankles that causes my shoes/sandals/boots to rub against each other. This unfortunately shortens the lifetime of my footwear or at least their outside appearance. I bought my pair for £35.00, which was a promotional price I believe, from online. However, my research tells me that they are being retailed fro £29.99 at the moment. Personally, I think it is a reasonable price for a good pair of durable and comfortable sandals.
Overall I'm pleased with this product. I would recommended this to anyone who knows the pain of wearing scrunchy flats on a hot summer day for long walks.
Thank you for reading. :) x
