My first pair of Timbaland boots arrived when I was at college and did me for two years before they were discarded in the favour of trainers. I have to say that my first pair did me proud and saw many harsh weathers over the two years I wore them for. I think I used them near on every day, while interchanging with Doc Martins. What a blast from the past. I got my first pair of these in 1997 and a second pair about five years later, both pairs lasted a good four four or five years. I even got the second pair resoled as I'd worn out the bottoms from so much walking, but the uppers were fine. Despite the fashion label origins of Timberland I found these boots to be so well constructed that they were able to withstand the rigours of fairly hardcore walking and scrambling in the Lake District for several years.
