joesher The Original Muckboot Company: ... had been promising myself a pair of really good walking Wellies for some time, and after some research decided on a pair of Muckboot Derwents. They were described as being suitable for yard work and for walking. When they came I was delighted as they were comfortable, warm and waterproof, and the easy-to-turn-down tops made them ideal for summer walking also. However, after wearing them just a few times (less tha...

MrsE Sports Direct
... wanted to write a review because my opinion has done a complete U-Turn. Sports Direct are a cheap warehouse type store that are nationwide. My local Sports Direct is absolutely huge. Whgen I first visited my initial impressions were NOT good. When I walked in to the store the staff looked bored to tears and grunted at me as I walked in. I put this down to it being so busy, but was wrong. As I started to look round the shop I realised that they stocked near enough all sports related items I could think of. However finding them was another matter. I spen ten minutes trying to find a staff member and when I eventually did they didn t know the answer to my question. I was ...

... as a Sunderland fan I have more reason to like Mike Ashley than most - what he has had a hand in doing to Newcastle has brought me endless amusement. Unlike some people, I do not hate the shop just because of who owns the chain. I hate the shop because it is a rubbish shop! No matter which branch of Sports Direct you visit, from walking in the door you are confronted by a dark, vast and overcrowded cavern of tat. I struggle to get around the shop with a few shopping bags, so don t know how anyone with a pushchair or wheelchair would manage. Some of the things this ...

I know you should never judge something before you have even tried it, but that was just my view. I was looking for some hiking shoes and needed them to be at least a little bit fashionable and of course affordable, being a female in my early 20 s at the bottom of my career ladder. I remember searching for days and days thinking "there are NO nice looking hiking shoes out there"! After much disappointment, I finally stumbled on the Sports Direct site. They sold a make, now known as Karrimor. They had a love...
