They have over 470 stores under various trading names including Sports World, Lillywhites, Gilesports and Donnay International. Stores are located all over the UK as well as in Ireland, Belgium, Holland and Slovenia. Sports Direct is quite far down the social scale of shops - it s a akin to the likes of Poundland and Primark... cheap and nasty. It sells sports clothing and equipment for men, women and children, with the biggest departments being footwear and football. 	Sports Direct ... Direct is a nationwide range of stores specialising in sports wear and accessories. They are usually located in out of town retail parks. I ve bought a range of different items from these stores in the past & the main reason I go back again & again is because they offer great value. Whether you re after a new pair of trainers or maybe some sporting wear or even a pack of sporting socks, you re probably find them cheaper here than anywhere else. In addition, there are a lot of big brand items by companies such as Nike, Reebok & Addidas, which are sold much cheaper than you d expect. 	Nike Town ... Town is what can only be described as a superstore full of everything Nike. It s located on Oxford Street in London right opposite Oxford Circus station & just a few doors down from Topshop. It s prime location means it s always busy but because of it s size spread over a number of floors, it doesn t tend to get that hectic. What you find inside is a immense range of the company s products from sportwear & casual clothing, all sorts of sports footwear & equipment for a variety of different sports.
