Advantages: loads of outdoor stuff
Disadvantages: 50% sale didn't include non camping items
Being a camping freak (you can see my review on camping if you care to) I consequently love these outdoor adventure type shops. Curiously, my affection for them has grown as I have got older; I think I probably look better in a cagoule than a pair of leggings! Anyway, I digress...
I have been for an exciting trip to Millets in Nottingham today and purchased two pairs of summer walking sandals size 5. These were in the kids section and priced £14.99! They fitted me perfectly and I am dead chuffed because the look amazing, they seem to be vegan and they were as cheap as chips!
There was a 50% off camping sale and the shop was doing a brisk trade. If I hadn't already got an excess of varied camping gizmos I would have been in there carting off tents and sleeping bags - which were all piled high in readiness for the rush.
At the till, I found a customer sales assistant being very helpful to someone who had brought in a dirty ski coat and was seeking washing (and waterproofing) advice. She got it and went away happy.
I have been pleased with everything I have bought there - this has included:
thick fluffy hoody (sooo warm)
camping expresso coffee machine
waterproof map holder
cagoule
Cath Kidston flowery tent and camping bed
stylish camping kettle
and other miscellaneous items
Summary: Alladdins cave for outdoor enthusiasts
