I had heard of Sports Direct before I had shopped there, but never thought much of it and just thought it was a place that sold un-fashionable sports wear. I know you should never judge something before you have even tried it, but that was just my view.

I was looking for some hiking shoes and needed them to be at least a little bit fashionable and of course affordable, being a female in my early 20's at the bottom of my career ladder. I remember searching for days and days thinking "there are NO nice looking hiking shoes out there"! After much disappointment, I finally stumbled on the Sports Direct site. They sold a make, now known as Karrimor.

They had a lovely pink and grey pair of hiking shoes, that I would say for hiking shoes are pretty! Whats more is that they were only £21.99 reduced from £69.99! Pretty and affordable - exactly what I wanted. I was happy!

Since this purchase, I have felt more than confident in shopping with Sports Direct. I shop both online and offline and Sports Direct offer both options which was perfect for me. Every time I have actually shopped online and bought items online, I have always been sent a complimentary Sports Direct mug and now I have 3! Very nice incentive! I always prefer shopping online than going to the actual store as I do see it as less hassle, but of course you pay for the P&P.

The actual Sports Direct store in my area is very big and you have to go up some escalators to enter the main section of the shop. The store can be rather overwhelming as there is alot of stock, ranging from tracksuits, footwear, jackets, coats, sports equipments, camping equipment and so much more! The store definitely could be abit more organised and maybe have signs to say where things are. Once you have been a few times though, you know where to look for certain things, unless they move things of course.

I have found so many bargains in Sports Direct, a few to name are:

Waterproof Jacket - £10.00 (was £54.99)
Camping tent - £10.00 (was £21.99)
Hiking Rucksack - £22.99 (was £65.99)

I really love buying my 'sporting' items from Sports Direct and would strongly recommend it to anyone. Look at the bargains I got, you could do just as well!
