From the eyes of a sports direct employee

Advantages: Cheap, plenty of choice
Disadvantages: No refund policy, Chaotic outlay
As a employee of sports direct and I do purchase some items from the store I work in and in other stores I have visited there are alot of negatives but over all the positives from the customers prospectiveout balance the bad. There mish mash almost look rioted layouts can be baffling for the workers(I often get a little lost on the clothing). The prices are very reasonable especailly on the certain specialist items like the running shoes are extremely good prices if you look into it(I advise you ask for someone with knowledge of running shoes if you are after something particular). The club shirt prices are good prices the shirt printing prices are pretty standard but they can't be cheaper on everything. To really get the best out there stores is treat it a bit like a T K Max where you have to have a bit of a rummage around.
I know first hand on the recieving end of it that the returns policy isn't overly popular. The staff do not always agree with it but as it is perfectly legal the poor staff behind the tills do not deserve the treatment they get. It's all above board as the company has been around for that long and if it was wrong surely someone would have punished them somehow. They are not the biggest sports retailer for no good reason. The staff cannot be great either but you get that in store you visit.
Summary: Bit of a challenge at times but what you see if what you get
