Sports Direct website

Advantages: Good bargains to be found, ease of ordering
Disadvantages: Expensive threshold of £75 for free delivery, ordering does not necassarily guarantee delivery
From my experience of shopping online with Sportsdirect.com primarily over their website, I am pleased on the whole with shopping with Sportsdirect. The website is organised by categories and they have the products from the lowest price at the beginning to the very highest as you select from different product and page filters.
As I am someone who spends quite a lot of money on casual and sporting products, I find that overall that Sportsdirect are my favourite supplier. There is JD Sports as a rival competitor, and I have noted that JD Sports sell more fashionable products, by this I mean they sell the latest designs, whereas Sportsdirect.com are more mainstream and I do think that I could say that they sell arguably last season's stock. Having said that, grabbing a bargain at the right price, is far more appealing to me to get a good pair of trainers around the £20-35 price range, compared to paying £60-100 just for the design.
Sports direct do indeed, have big name products such as Adidas, Nike, Reebok, Asics and Puma.
In recent months, I have placed quite a few orders and on one occasion I thought I had spent £42 on 2 pairs of trainers, I received a confirmation e-mail thanking me for my order, and I did have to wait a few days to receive a new e-mail saying that my order had been cancelled due to lack of stock. This aspect of the buying process could have been so much better, and more regular updates to my order should have been in place.
Recently when I purchased products costing slightly above £75 which qualified for free delivery, I received all the products as expected, but I have to say I did have to wait a few days for their e-mail updates which stated that the products had been given to the courier for delivery. I feel that it is good to get free delivery but for a lot of people, the barrier of spending this amount of money is quite high.
My own purchasing has involved paying small amounts of money for t-shirts, sweatshirts, tracksuits, and trainers. I have not had the need to pay top whack for any product and have been more than happy with the range of products and it is the brands they stock that have enabled me to save some money by avoiding the most expensive priced goods. The one thing I have been most pleased is the price on a lot of products, and there are regular sales, and not just seasonal sale events. This factor will see me returning and ordering from the sportsdirect website in the future.
When the order is delivered there is a day or 2 waiting time for delivery by Yodel courier. It is good that when the order has been confirmed that you can track your order on the Yodel website which is handy so that someone is at home to take delivery.
When I have received my parcels, they come in boxes, and the trainer shoes have the manufacturers box, or with some clear wrapping paper with the t-shirts. I have had no cause for concern regarding the quality of the deliveries, except on some trainers I have ordered, I have seen sale stickers on the side of the box.
Overall, I would definitely recommend sportsdirect.com for people in the market for sportswear. I have had no reason to return items back to the warehouse, but have exchanged goods at my nearest Sportsdirect retail store, for products that did not fit well, or fit as I would have liked.
Summary: One of my favorite websites for clothes and trainers
