“ Peanut Butter / Food quality: Organic food „
I have never really been one to jump on the 'organic' or 'free range' bandwagon as i could never really taste a difference in the quality nor did my morals affects my choices, for me price and taste are the biggest indicators of what i will buy.
In my mind this is the best tasting peanut butter out there, the reason being i believe is that it contains a higher % of peanuts per 100 grams and also it doesn't use nasty hydrogenated fats to bind it like so many other brands out there, and so for this reason i have gone 'organic'. This peanut butter spreads on toast like a dream and the peanuts are still chunky and in tact so be careful if giving it to young children. The worst thing about it is that it is very moorish and you can easily polish off a jar in one sitting when armed with a large spoon. At 500 and something calories per 100 grams it is definately not a staple food as quite frankly it will get you fat.
As for price i think it comes in under some of the more well known brands as it is an 'asda' own brand so you can't go wrong.

I am now into my third jar and I am still loving it. This crunchy peanut butter is very different from other brand of peanut butter. It is smooth and it is crunchy. Sounds contradictory, isn't.
The peanuts are finely crushed into small pieces. It is not like some other crunchy peanut butter where you get big pieces and sometimes it get stuck in your tooth. The peanut butter is very smooth and it spread very nicely on the bread.
sometimes, I would just eat a spoonful of the peanut butter on its own and it is delicious.
Best of all, it is organic. The ingredients are all organically sourced and they are Peanuts -91%, Vegetable Fat , Sea Salt and that's it.
This crunchy peanut butter costs 78p and is available at all Asda store. It is good value for money and it's probably healthier than most peanut butter as it is organic without any preservatives and flavour enhancer.
