Advantages: tastes great

Disadvantages: None

I love clover, and this is one of those products I just can't deviate from, no matter what the cost.

the 500g tub costs around £1.50 but it's on offer a lot in Sainsbury's for £1.00. and that will easily last 2 weeks in a house of 2 people (who do eat toast every day).

The best thing about clover is the taste. I think it is classed as a margarine but has all the taste of real butter. If you are looking to save a few calories, giving up butter is really hard but I have found this a really great alternative. It is a rich yellow colour, unlike other margarines I have tried that just look pale and disgusting. It isn't quite as salty as real butter, but I find that a good thing, as it tastes a bit better and it's much more healthier.

It is great in cooking, and great on toast or crumpets, and especially good with jacket potatoes.

It doesn't say that it's spreadable but it is very easy to spread over soft bread. With some margarines or butters they can be very difficult to spread and I find that highly irritating, but this is one of those that just glides across the bread.

A brilliant product, and a great substitute for real butter.

Summary: Great product, healthier alternative to butter.
