Admittedly I do only have this occasionally so I dont suppose the calories content (however high it may be) would matter too much; but it is a sticking point which would make me think twice about buying any other Mrs Bridges products for self-consumption.

On a recent trip to a garden centre to buy Christmas presents, I came across the Mrs Bridges range of pickles, preserves and other yummy goodies. Amongst other delicious sounding and looking products I find this Banoffee Curd. Each jar was individually priced and ranged from around £2.25 to £2.95 or more, depending on the product. This particular jar was £2.45, which is definitely a lot more that I would pay for something like this. The picture provided is perfectly accurate of my jar of Banoffe Curd, with a net weight of 340g / 12oz.
