Sun-Pat Super Smooth Peanut Butter contains peanuts and is therefore not recommended to people who have any form of nut allergy. It also doesn’t contain sheep, cow, pig or goat and can therefore be deemed suitable for consumption by vegetarians. There you go readers, the bleedin’ obvious stuff out of the way. With a strange obsession for weird blends when it comes to sandwiches, bagels or just toast I have been known to mix ham with strawberry jam (don’t knock it until you’ve tried it) and bacon on toast with peanut butter. The subject of my review today, Sun-Pat Super Smooth is my regular brand for reasons I will set out further, but as far as I am concerned ... Read the complete review

I love to make sure that my children eat a breakfast every morning before school and to be honest I am willing to let them have almost anything on the top if it means that they have a nice filling breakfast and are a little bit more alert throughout the day without hunger to distract them. I have lots of different jams and spreads in my cupboards but one of the more popular choices in my household is always peanut butter. I will try lots of value things but there are some times when only the branded product will do and I believe that this is the case when it comes to peanut butter as Sunpat is something that I have grown up with and I just prefer the taste of ... For me there is something very comforting about peanut butter (in sandwiches to be precise) in fact it is one of my all time favourite comfort foods. I like it so much that I have even been known to eat it straight out of the jar! I realise that for some people this may seem quite disgusting as peanut butter can be a kind of love or hate thing, much like marmite. However, I love it and I always have a jar lurking somewhere in my cupboards. In my eyes there has only ever been one contender when it comes to buying peanut butter and that has to be Sun Pat. Packaging: What I love about Sun Pat peanut butter is the very distinctive and easily ... Read the complete review

I always tried to offer my family variety of snacks and having kids around the house, I tend to stock up with different spread and one of their favourite aside from nutella is Sun Pat peanut butter super smooth. I believe peanut butter is a nutritious snack for children and adults as long as it is eaten in moderation. So I'm quite happy to offer them the super smooth peanut butter from Sun Pat. HISTORY Sun-Pat is a brand of peanut butter in the United Kingdom owned by Premier Foods. Initially produced as a by-product of a nut-packing operation in Hadfield, Derbyshire, and is made in Cambridgeshire. It was first sold in the UK as far back as the 1930's, ... I always try to have a good breakfast, recently maybe due to the colder weather I've found I'm starving hungry by lunchtime, I happened to read an article on protein breakfasts, and how they keep you going, and energise you for longer. This article suggested that for a change you could try peanut butter on wholemeal toast, as this will give you good quality protein, and be a change from eggs. I hadn't tried peanut butter for years, but passing by some on a shelf in my local coop I thought I'd give it a try.I decided on the smooth variety. I have to report that this peanut butter is dangerously delicious. By that I mean that its very tempting and ... Read the complete review
