... Cadbury's he can sleep in his beloved shed!). The Tesco version comes in a glass jar (nicely recyclable) with a blue screw top lid and branding (the jar is now a straight sided one as opposed to the one shown in the above picture), with lots of nuts bouncing around on it. There is also ingredients and nutritional information and, ironically a warning that it may contain nuts!!! I usually have pb on toast for breakfast as I have to eat quite early and I find it's the only thing that keeps me full til lunchtime. Plus ...more

Tesco Smooth Peanut Butter: I'm nuts about this peanut butter! (989 words)

There are very few products that I'm exclusively brand loyal to. Obviously there are certain brands I prefer above others, but will usually try something new if I receive it as a gift or see a good offer on something (or, increasingly since joining Dooyoo, read a good review of it). The only exceptions to this for many years have been Cadbury's (Mmmmmmmmmm) and Sunpat peanut butter. I had a bad experience with an American peanut butter called Jiff many years ago that scarred me for, well, many years! Since that awful day (yes, it kept repeating on me ALL day, eurgh!) I vowed never to try another peanut butter other than Sunpat and assumed that all other brands would ...  Read the complete review

Yummy and smooth peanuts! (432 words)

I have a thing for peanut butter and even on an healthy eating kick I can't kick the stuff out of my diet. Sure there are low fat alternatives of the stuff, but it does nothing for me at all and I'd just rather trying eating less of the full variety cos in my experience it contains better flavour! Me though, I can usually be found eating this straight out of the jar and I only ever eat smooth peanut butter as I don't like peanuts pieces clogging up my throat and airways! The other day my mum went to Tesco and picked this up for me costing £1.15 and I couldn't wait to get stuck in! The Packaging.... 2440g jar with a screw on/off plastic ...  Read the complete review

Tesco Smooth Peanut Butter, 340g - 97p I adore peanut butter!!! Due to this, I have tried every brand that I have come across. I have to say that, at the moment, this is my favourite! The design has changed since the picture was posted above (and I think the recipe may have changed since then as well as it seems to taste a little nicer now). It now comes in a short round tub. It has a blue label and lots of pictures of bright yellow peanuts (in the shell). The peanut butter has a rich taste and you can actually taste the peanuts. It is also very creamy and easy to spread. There is not too much sugar so you don't have that ...  Read the complete review

Nutty for peanut butter, but not this one. (284 words)

Ok, so as a student craving peanut butter jelly sandwiches, I just had to pop into Tesco one day and grab a jar of the smooth peanut butter. I havn't tried crunchy (although I have heard it is a bit more flavourful) but I literally have experimented with a number of brands of smooth peanut butter, and this one is *near* the top of my 'good peanut butter' list. What I like about Tesco's peanut butter is it is a lot smoother than some other brands I have tried (particularly one I bought from ALDI, and ASDA's brand) however, compared to other brands such as one bought in LIDL, this jar is actually quite small for the price (I can't remember precisely but I think ...  Read the complete review
