Tesco Value Chocolate Spread

Advantages: None at all for me.

Disadvantages: Very artificial tasting, too sweet and too runny.

With all of my grandkids loving Nutella chocolate spread and I myself enjoying it from time to time my wife decided it was costing a fortune and decided to attempt to replace it with this very cheap Tesco value chocolate spread, I say tried to replace it because neither the grandkids nor myself would stand for it.

It doesn't taste anywhere near as good as Nutella and it also does not have the nutritional goodness that nutells has, it instead tastes sugary sweet and very artificial, if there was an actual taste for cheap then this would be it.

It is a very cheap spread costing only 88p for a 600g jar as opposed to the £1.47 that the same size jar of Nutella would cost but believe me Nutella is worth every extra penny.

The jar looks drab and boring and the spread inside it tastes exactly like that, it also does not have the consistency of nutella with this being a much thinner spread and one that goes very runny unless kept extremely cool.

One tablespoonful of this cheap chocolate spread has 85 calories, 8.1g of sugar and 5.5g of fat, so if you want a chocolate spread that tastes awful and will be guaranteed to get the whole family fat then go ahead with this but if not then take my advice and give this a wide berth.

Summary: Best avoided!!
