If you want a Sata caddy, buy this one

The Akasa Integral P2 E-SATA AK-ENP2SATA-BK is a hard drive caddy that supports IDE and SATA interfaces.

A hard drive caddy is a very useful piece of equipment. It allows you to make an internal hard drive an external hard drive. The pack includes the enclosure itself, a sata power cable (the one that is already in the enclosure is an IDE power cable), an E-Sata Cable, a USB cable, a stand, screws and a poewr cablre. It is very easy to set up, and took me under 5 minutes to complete. Firstly you plug your hard drive into the cables needed, i.e. IDE or Sata. Then click it into place, screw it together, and you have a working external hard drive.

The HDD caddy lights up when it is switched on. This caddy allows you to connect the hard drive to your PC by either USB or E-SATA. E-SATA is a very fast connection giving you the same speeds as internal hard drives.

At 25 pounds, this is a bargain if you have any spare internal hard drives knocking about. The only issue with this, is that is only powered by AC, meaning that if you want transport it, you need to take a bulky power cable with you.

      I would recommend this product.
