Advantages: Easy to get the drive out when the storage drawer fails

Disadvantages: Average lifespan is just a few months

Cheap fans with poorly designed sleeve bearings overheat and melt -- often without even triggering fan speed alarm until after the fan is destroyed. Internal & external data/power contacts are made of cheap metal which rapidly oxidizes, causing system crashes with data loss. Service and support is non-existent, and the company website is currently offline (www.enermax.com.tw). This product is absolute trash, not even worth anything as aluminum scrap. I purchased a case of these units from another vendor, and most of them have failed within 12 months. Based on this experience, I will never buy another Enermax product again. Thanks for letting me blow off steam here and spare other customers the hellish Enermax experience.
