All models and variants in the PRIMERGY 702 line provide 9 drive bays for hard disks which, when connected to disk array controllers with a suitable RAID level (Redundant Array of Independent Disks), can also be swapped or added during online operation (hot-plug). Hot-pluggable power supply modules and facilities for monitoring all major components complete the high availability options. PRIMERGY 702 is suitable for the installation of Ultra-Wide SCSI hard disks. With Ultra-Wide SCSI 3, maximum transfer rates of 40 MB/s per SCSI channel are possible.
