HP Storageworks Network Storage Router e2400 ... Channel option for the ESL9000 family of libraries. The e2400 Base SKU includes a cPCI card cage and two Fiber Channel-to-SCSI router cards with one 1 GB or 2 GB Fiber Channel port and two SCSI (LVD/SE) ports. The e2400 Upgrade SKU contains two router cards that can also be installed in the card cage, allowing customers to upgrade the number of drives in the library connected to the SAN. The embedded routers are for customers who want to save on rack space by implementing their Fiber Channel to SCSI router inside the library. By connecting tape libraries to the SAN backup windows are up to five times faster reducing the downtime of business operations. Customers can also take advantage of serverless backup support, 1 GB or 2 GB Fiber Channel support and the Web-based management.
