IBM Totalstorage DS4100 Model 1SC ... entry solution for small business applications and near-line, secondary storage applications. The DS4100 Model 1SC is a single controller offering based upon 2 Gbps Fibre Channel (FC) technology which enables RAID-protected storage, SAN attachment, includes three 250 GB Serial Advanced Technology Attachment (SATA) disk drives, and scalable capacity.

The DS4100 Model 1SC supports applications running on IBM eserver pSeries and xSeries servers as well as select servers from Sun, HP, and other Intel-based servers. The DS4100 Model 1SC includes three 250 GB SATA disk drive modules and can be configured with up to 11 additional internal SATA disk drive modules, offering up to 3.5 terabytes (TB) of physical storage capacity.
