The GDT 6118RS is a one channel Wide/Ultra2 SCSI Disk Array Controller (RAID 0/1) with Multiprocessor RISC Technology, with Intel i960RS CPU. Synchronous data transfer rate on the Wide/Ultra2 SCSI channel allows 80MB/sec transfer rate. With up to 12 meters of cable length (LVDS) there are no limitations for your connections. The cache-RAM can be extended up to 128 MB. The controller supports controller-based Data-Striping (RAID 0), Disk-Mirroring (RAID 1) and Disk-Chaining, and up to 15 SCSI devices.
