All good reasons and that s why I enrolled onto the first presenation of the OU s Beginners Welsh (code L196) course. I have studied through the OU before, but only short courses so this was to be my first full-year commitment to study. Fortunately, the course was completely paid for by their excellent financial support service, as the £430 price t... Read the full review: Dw i'n hoffi dysgu Cymraeg! by bamamo |

Tante Marie School of Cookery ... have just completed my Essential Skills course at the Tante Marie Cookery School. I have learned quite a lot of new things and I thought a review would be helpful for anyone else considering this course, as it s not cheap at £2.825 for the 4-week course (it was £2,625 when I signed up in November 2008). What is included in the Essential Skills course? ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ You get tuition and all the ingredients are provided. On the first day of the course we were given a set of chef s knives in a knife wallet (I have written a separate review of these), a pair of chef s trousers, a white chef s jacket, a blue hat and an apron. We were also given a re... Read the full review: I am £2,600 poorer, but my cooking has been enriched! by sakura8 |
