Art History @ St. Andrews

Having never done art history, or any other history at university level, I was not really sure what to expect when I first enrolled on to this course. But the course so far has been incredibly interesting. I never realised how much information was available by simply looking at the illustrations of religious texts (such as psalters, apocalypses and books of hours) from the medieval ages (mainly the 13th century). My only problem has been the slide tests. I have never had to do one before and I honestly didn't really know what to expect. Although I think it is a skill that you pick up (or at least I am hoping it is), I get the impression that art history ...
