I work primarily as a Kickboxing instructor, teaching people of all ages from age 7 upwards. This requires me to have a certain knowledge of basic first aid. This is something that my employer asked me to take part in, when I say ask I actually mean made! I had previously participated in a one day Health & Safety course which lasted a day but seemed more like a year. This had really put me off taking anymore courses even relating to health and safety. As this course was supplied to me by my employer it was free for me to take, however if you're planning on taking this course on your own accord then you're looking at around an £80 price tag.
