Working full-time in an admin position, working part-time behind a bar and studying part-time for a degree is NOT a bowl of cherries. However, overall I have to say that it was a very rewarding experience and helped me develop my communication skills and my confidence. The tutors were on the whole very good, with the exception of a few. I would recommend this uni as the facilities are good (library, bar etc.) and everyone is genuinely very supportive if you have problems. Although I didn't make lasting friends I found I enjoyed working with most of the people I met. It's tough trying to keep going - not nice to trudge to uni after work (especially in the winter months), but well worth it once you finish. I proved to myself that I had the ambition and determination to succeed and felt fantastic at my graduation ceremony! I really was proud of myself when I graduated, I had such a sense of achievement and the feeling when you tell people and see their reaction is just amazing! It was all worthwhile - although looking back I just don't know how I managed to juggle everything! Good luck if you decide to take this option, you do have to make sacrifices but feeling of achievement at the end of it is indescribable!
