Computer Science At Anglia Polytechnic University

I went there for three years between 1992 and 1995 and completed a 2:1 honours degree in BSc Information Systems Development. I had the choice of going to several universities but this was local to me. At the time the course I was on never covered the Web which was a major disadvantage to me when I went out into the real world. Some of syllabus covered was very useful including C++ programming(we were among the first to learn the Object Oriented Methodology), Human Computer Interaction using Visual Basic (this is excellent for Web Development). I have just finished a post grad computer science course at APU. I am so pleased and proud of what I have done - and I am also glad that its all over and I can't say that I would recommend Anglia Polytechnic University. In their defence I should say that it was a new course, but it was poorly administered and the teaching was not well organised and led. Don't get me wrong - Cambridge is a great place to study and live, but if you are seriously thinking about the course and the course content I know that you can do better.
