The computer department has the best computers on campus and because of that it also has tight security which means that only computer science and CogSci students are allowed in the building which leads to a friendly atmosphere between all years of the department. The department also has a common room that is used by students and lecturers alike for just resting, revising or meetings. As I write this opinion in three days I will be returning to Exeter for my second year of doing a Computer Science Degree. Firstly the course, it is reported to be one of the top 10 computer science courses in the country and has won some of the top awards for its courses. I whole heartedly agree with all that has been said about the quality of the course and department, but I do have a few complaints (but I will get to them later) The department is a small building that is part of the old library and the Arabic studies centre but it is perfect for the computer science needs.
