Courses in generalNewest Review: ... were a lot of events organised to help you find your way around leicester and the university, to introduce you to your course mates and tutors and these were extremely helpful, particularly if you didn't know anyone. the course itself i found really good apart from the fact it doesn't really encourage you to seek for work experience in your vacations and it dosent set you projects to do over vacations (these you have to do entirely off your own back). in some ways the university is not very organised at all. I have just completed my final year of a three year course at De Montfort University studying Surface Decoration. I chose this degree because of the location and reputation of the course I wanted to study. I chose leicester because of all the other universities i looked at it was the only one located close to the city centre (i don't drive, i hate buses). On first impressions I thought i would be happy here.
