People can come out of the course having studied things such as women?s studies and social policy whereas others can work their butt off learning really hard economics and maths. All the course tutors are foreign Phd students who do not have a clue how to teach. Most of them can not string a sentence together in English. I am in my third year studying for an economics degree at Manchester university. I would not recommend this course to anyone wanting to learn anything useful at university. I think the degree is a joke, because of the huge variety of things you can study. People can come out of the course having studied things such as women?s studies and social policy whereas others can work their butt off learning really hard economics and maths.
