We are allocated a tutor who is responsible for about 6 people and I have already been given a lot of great useful advice from him. The way things work at university is very different from school and this was initially somewhat daunting. However, with a good amount of encouragement from lecturers the transition from a school like environment to a lecture based environment is very easy. I started at Bristol in September 2009. I am in my first year studying for a MEng in Civil Engineering with Study in Continental Europe. I chose Bristol because it has a good academic reputation and I liked the city when I came for the open day. Since I arrived here the faculty of engineering has impressed me greatly.
