I have known people to have their work marked completely wrong - a friend of mine was told she had failed & would not have found out she actually got a good grade had she not gone to get some feedback - so ALWAYS get feedback. Please note: I would not 'recommend' as this is a very personal and individual decision, which could go either way depending on the person. I graduated from this University back in 2007. Unfortunately, my experience of this University has not been entirely positive. To say the least, it was disappointing. I transferred from UEA to be nearer to my hometown. My decision to switch Universities (and start from scratch in year 1) was very last minute, which meant I had to go through clearing and accept anything available. After a lot of people looking down on the old Polytechnics becoming Universities, a lot of us at Middlesex were a bit dubious about how good our University really is at the beginning of our degrees. Now coming to the end of my degree, I can safely say that I can't imagine having done any other course at any other University. I hope to give you a rounded view of not only the degree and the University, but also how to approach the step up to higher education and knowing if the University and course are right for you.
