The wide topic of areas in addition to all the information that is gained, leaves the student with a good grounding in a cross-section of areas, and it is often possible to specialise after the course. Although the acutal work itself was not overly difficult - I wouldn't say it was easy but if someone is of graduate level, they should not have a big problem with it - it was the sheer volume of work that made it tough. I did the MBA course full-time for 1 year at the Ulster Business School of the University of Ulster, graduating in 1996. I had a background of an Arts degree, and anticipated difficulty in obtaining a job, so I decided to supplement my CV with a business qualification.
